Imagnary House is a boutique South African book publisher with a special focus on children’s books and young-adult literature. The Company aims to give full rein to children’s literacy and imaginations in Southern Africa in the belief that enjoying the ability to read is the right of children of all languages, areas and cultures.

Depicting characters like roaring monsters, colourful characters, afro kweens, magicians, Vikings, talking giraffes and many more, the publishing house aims to instil a desire for imagination and curiosity above the rules of language. Imagnary House works off the phrase that sums up the Company’s mission: "If you walk in the measurable, you miss out on the imaginable”. The aim is to publish stories above the rules of language in the belief that beautiful books can become world-changing legacies.
